Paint Professionals’ Managing Director Martin Penney began painting alongside his father Ron as a 10 year old, when his father operated under the name of Penney’s Painting. In the late 1970s in the United Kingdom, Ron Penney had been handpicked to paint Broadlands, the former home of Lord Montgomery Mountbatten in Romsey England where he decorated the chambers of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Martin formed Paint Professionals in 1994, with a vision to bring a new level of professionalism to the trade.
Martin says in some ways, our past is our future. ‘We’ve built on the tradition established by my father of taking a genuine interest in our customers to help them achieve the best results, to a fully-fledged professional painting business with reliable, timely and cost-effective painting solutions and guaranteed service’, he says.

Martin’s particular expertise is in leading a team of licensed and experienced painters who continue the tradition of dedication to client satisfaction and quality work. ‘Our success is built on a successful outcome for each and every job—big or small, commercial or residential. We consistently set new benchmarks for the industry’, he says.
Martin has worked in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide and has travelled to many parts of the world.
